  Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

  The hotel was delightful and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restored convent is beautifully decorated. Anyone planning a special event would love this hotel. Everything at the hotel seems to be selected with great care. The antiques throughout the hotel make you feel like you are living in another era. Worth remembering that this is a B&B, so it took a while to establish that we could have an evening meal there. Once we did it was very good and served in a room with stunning views.

The town of Castellammare di Stabia is not verynice, so you have to drive to Amalfi coast to get decent views.   Villa Rizzo was perfect - friendly staff, beautiful location, and great accommodations. Drinking a bottle of wine (from the estate!) on a terrace by the pool, overlooking the valley, was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip. - Nice and quiet environment.   that's an oasis in the centre os naples! we reached the hotel by foot from the central railway ctation - there was rubbish everywhere while we were going, but caracciolo appeared like a miracle)) by the way, naples has it's own charm and i like it, but the difference is enormous on the first sight)) - Beautiful hotel with nice facilities.
