  Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

  The hotel was delightful and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restored convent is beautifully decorated. Anyone planning a special event would love this hotel. Everything at the hotel seems to be selected with great care. The antiques throughout the hotel make you feel like you are living in another era. The views from the hotel are amazing.Paestum is nearby so that was an interesting site to visit. - Lovingly restored building in a fantastic location. Comfortable, well appointed room.Friendly staff. Excellent food and wine, fairly priced. We seemed to be the only visitors on a Friday night in early May - hard to understand, given the quality of the place. Worth remembering that this is a B&B, so it took a while to establish that we could have an evening meal there. Once we did it was very good and served in a room with stunning views.

The town of Castellammare di Stabia is not verynice, so you have to drive to Amalfi coast to get decent views.   The rooms were big and bright. The staff at the desk were friendly and had good English. The location could not have been any better- beside lovely restaurants, across from the marina. The room was cleaned every day sportlessly. - Their kindness was really amazing, and a location of the hotel is excellent!

  Wonderful place to stay, quiet, beautifil and relaxing. 1) Good location, close to a bus stop, beaches and villages (10 min walk) and St Angelo is the most beautiful place on the island.
