Also, the guesthouse is located next to a vibey piazza where all the artsy locals hang out, so - This hotel was fairly close to everything. Hotel was close to a square with many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.

  Great B&B. Very clean and quiet. It's a 10 minutes walking from the train station, with the suitcases. There are 2 bridges in between, the big one right out the train station and a little one after so you may suffer a little with your luggage, but thats normal in Venice. Breakfast was basic but with an excellent italian coffee -- served in our room every morning.

  The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks. A very quiet place, especially for the great location between San Marco and Rialto Bridge. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed quite comfy.
