  The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The location is central, at the edge of the Rialto between the tourist/attractions and quieter neighborhoods. Lots of food/wine shops nearby - pastries, cheese meats, coffee, fish, vegetables. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean.   We spent only one night in Venezia. It was raining all day. But because of this Nice hotel, we felt very cozy, pleasant atmosphere. In addition wanted to stay there a few more days.   The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks. Very close to San Marco square, beautiful view out to the Grand Canal from the room where we ate breakfas - Everything was great. Very spacious room and a nice welcome with a bottle of champagne (we were travelling on our honeymoon). We enjoyed the view on a small romantic channel with gondolas passing by (there are some rooms with windows overlooking the Grand Canal). Excellent location, easy to find and get to (next to a water bus stop),and great for sightseeing and shopping (just a short stroll from San Marco with all designer stores on the way).
