  The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.   Pretty much liked the rooms and the facilities in general. Buffet breakfast was not too bad either. Excellent value for money. It takes about 25-30 min by bus to get to the nearest metro station and Varican. On the other hand the metro system in Rome is not that extensive, there are only two lines, so most of the people have to travel by busses a... mitä ihmiset sanovat » nd trams a lot more on every day basis. Moreover, busses are very reliable - during the day they pass with exactly 20 min interval. Overall, left with - I've encountered some problems during my stay in this hotel, however, their manager responded decently. I really appreciate the gentleman's great work. I would come back and recommend this hotel to my friends. It is a little far from the city center, about 20ish minutes to Vatican by bus. However, it is still convenient to take bus 32 to go to Vatican. The bus station is 300 meters away from the hotel. I only spent a couple of minutes to wait for the bus coming during my three days' visit.
