previously reviewed glass doors issue was being dealt with and that
solved a really nice place to stay for all .The bus from the airport

It's great! Small family hotel in the heart of the pictoresque medieval town (Bergamo- Alta) with just few minutes walking distance from main square. The welcome was very lovely and the owner was kind in making good recommendations for places to eat on two very rainy evenings.
The rooms with ceiling frescoes are high and very appealing.
The breakfasts were a refreshing surprise with salad plates presented along with cereal and fresh fruit.

Sympathetically renovated to retain old features with modern facilities, spotless, staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast with homemade goodies and choice of English cooked or traditional Italian. We had a kitchenette with table and sofa and large, comfortable bed, mountain view over roofs from top floor room. 5 minute walk to modern city /airport bus.

We just stayed one night to catch early morning flight from Bergamo Airport. Location is perfect, 15 minutes drive to- from the Airport.
We stayed in the family room with beautiful Terace-Garden.
Even we left very early in the morning, the owner prepared some sandwiches for us as take away.
Sure will stay also next time.

Lorenzo the master is very nice and congenial.
The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty.
The breakfast is usual for Italy and is served in the room.
The only disorder is a common bathroom, but it is clean and sanita

i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.

I agree with the other reviews. This is a very comfortable place to stay. I especially appreciated the good sized kitchen. The owners are kind and go beyond what is necessary to make sure guests have an enjoyable stay. This was my first time in Bergamo. Elisa was there to meet me when I arrived and offered useful suggestions about places to eat

When we arrived Eleana greeted us but told us that the B&B was full and that we would be staying in an apartment in the centre of Bergamo. Bergamo Romantica is located in a nice building near to the rail station. The rooms were nice renovated in a romantic style. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a small balcony, overlooking Citta Alta Bergamo. Signiora was very convenient. We have the best impressions and we'll stay definitely again in Bergamo Romantica. -
