  The location was excellent as expected however the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful...this was somewhat surprising after reading some poor reviews but very very welcome. - The Hotel was easily accessible from the Waterbus stop and near restaurants and bars. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... mitä ihmiset sanovat » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.

  We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... It was wonderful to be able to walk to and fro to San Marco's Square and despite the close proximity, the price was very reasonable. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plenty and delicious. They provided locked up baggage servic - The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks. Everytime we left the room, we came back and the bed wasmade, and there were chocolates on our pillows, the breakfast waswonderful and the eggs tasted amazing. On a scale of 1-10, I give thishotel a 15!!
