  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... mitä ihmiset sanovat » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.

  Our room and large terrace were wonderful. The room had lots of light with 4 large windows that all open with a canal view. The terrace looked over the rose garden and the Grand canal.   This hotel is located in a prime spot right next to the water bus stop. It is a beautiful hotel and our bedroom (suite) was wonderful. They have a wonderful garden on the waters edge, with comfy chairs to relax in and watch the sun go down. Food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. They had thoroughly enjoyed their stay and they had been treated with great courtesy. They also enjoyed their evening meals at the Hotel restaurant (half board).
