  My husband and I have returned from 3 day break, wonderful, perfect location, rooms, small but lovely (especially if overlooking lagoon), away from tourist area, but still amazing, great to get to as vaparetto stop right outside.   The owner of this hotel is a very elegant man, who was very helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The room itself was not large but had a wonderful veranda that overlooked a canal.   The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was quiet, yet just off a lovely square. It was so close to the grand canal and therefore easy for transport and sightseeing, eating out etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel courtyard was a lovely little place to sit for your breakfast.

  The hotel is basic but really good value for money. The decor is dated but is really clean and tidy. We had cleaners come into the room daily swept moped and clean towels and sheets. The hotel is basically on the front of the canal about 1min walk from san marco square.
