Everything is just fine - location, service and breakfast. Also the landlady is a very kind person. It's quiet, tidy and clean. But to get there you need a car, because using public transport would take too long. I would fully recommend this place and I am planning to return. -

As we had a car, this was an ideal place for visiting Portovenere and Cinque Terre. All of the hotels located in La Spezia, Portovenere, Cinque Terre were either expensive or had low ratings and reported parking problems, so we chose Casali Romei in Sarzana as our base. The BB is located perfectly between Lerici and San Terenzo. You can take the bus right outside the BB. Or you can walk down the hill to both villages, which we did.
We had a very nice big bedroom, a big bathroom and a large balcony. Very nice view.

realy tried to please us. After the breakfast host left for us lunch
pack which was very nice of her. As well we were allowed to take water

We had a very nice stay in this hotel, the views were lovely, overlooking the bay. Although we didn't have a balcony of our own, there is a lovely terrace where we sat, chilled, and enjoyed the spectacular views.
The breakfast was the best we had throughout the whole of our 19 day trip through Italy.

Hotel is set up high on the hill and has a beautiful view of marina and
square and partial of the castle but it was only a short walk to both.
The room was average in size but the bed was the most comfortable of all
the ones we had during our three week stay in Italy. Quiet room and nice
bathroom with a robe. Great breakfast in a nice setting. Staff was very
helpful especially when we needed to buy and print out train tickets.
