  The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street.   We loved the lift, the breakfast room, the staff very helpful and relaxed. Andreas was very good about emailing me back about various changes to our arrangements and ensuring needs met (adjacent rooms as family of 5 etc) and updating us frankly about the situation in Athens as we booked and were coming a fortnight after the rioting in December 2008... mitä ihmiset sanovat » .   Nice room with a big shower. - The value for money....excellent for it's location, and having staied in a triple we had a great view of the Acropolis :). - Proximity to the centre of Athens. The staff were very helpful. Thebreakfast was lovely and the rooms clean the view was spectacular fromthe rooftop balcony.

  The Acropolis Hill Hotel was ideally situated; easy to find from Syngrou- Fix Metro Station and a pleasant walk to and from historic sites in and around the Acropolis, and the Plaka and Monastiraki areas (and the information centre which is also well worth a visit for free maps, guides and advice). Only a few mins walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Rooms on the front of the hotel have Acropolis view. About 10 mins walk to the old-town area of Plaka. Nice swimming pool. Lovely modern decor throughout and great breakfast. Lovely.
