  EVERYTHING!! We stayed in the Belafonte Loft with our 16 month old son while in Athens and it was just perfect. The location is tough to beat. It is right in Plaka and only about a 5-10 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. He was almost always there for help, advice, or just to chat. He nearly always had f - We stayed in the Loft Suite and absolutely loved it! John is a good host, very helpful and easy going! The view from the Loft Suite terrace (with hammock) is amazing; you can see the Akropolis from your chair! The house has a great design, is very clean and beds are comfortable; we felt at home immediately. In the small kitchen coffee, tea and jams are provided. Alice Inn is just a few steps from the Plaka and plateia Syntagma (metro). So; great location, great rooms, beautiful city!

We have stayed in a nice studio that comes with nice basic amenities, comfy beds, clean showers, fridge and a well functional A/C that keeps you cool from the heat in summer. Breakfast is served downstairs of the studio and a nice bar is few steps away. The balconies put you as close as you can get to the view. George could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to show us around town and make sure we had evetything we needed. He even escorted us to out tour and made sure our boat would wait for us! The fresh white walls of the bedrooms in Hotel Thireas mirror the crisp white structures of Santorini. Clean, beautiful and welcoming.

  This hostel is way beyond my expectation. It's super super clean, nicely designed and managed. The mattress for the bunk bed is good quality and very comfortable. Bathroom is even cleaner than what's in my own apartment. Staff are very friendly. He explained to me for 20 minutes on the map what trips I can take to go around Athens.   Stayed at Marble House again for a 2nd time gives me the impression that they have a continues improvement in almost everything. Greeted by Christos upon check-in, looked like I was coming home. They give us everything we needed without charge. They even extend our check out until night without charge. It was also provided a computer with WiFi without charge. The location of the hotel is very near from the Athens city centre (10 mins walk).

Theodora made every opportunity to make arrangements for dinner reservations, island hopping, ferry, taxis etc. It was a very friendly environment and they made our stay tremendously pleasant. Costs between 5-7 euro to get to and from town. Most taxis do not know where the hotel is locate - A full apt with a living room, walk-in kitchen and separate bedroom containing a pair of singles, so 3-4 fit comfortably inside and on the long balcony. Safest location, 4 mins from two Metro stops where you can pick up breakfast at the bakery and cook it in the oven. Two elevators so they always work and lovely super-friendly staff. If you are getting a price below 100euros, I cannot imagine any place that can beat this.
