  Friendly hotel staff. Very clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and equipped room. Excellent position, only few hundred meters from the city center and easy to reach from the national road. - we loved everything. Pool looked and was fantastic.   This is the very best hotel! We toured Crete for 11 days and wished we had stayed here for more than 1 night. Everything is great here an - I rarely take the time to write reviews but Megaron was so exceptional that I felt compelled to comment. The service, room, breakfast buffet are extraordinary! It's the first all-female run 5-star hotel I've stayed in from manager, dining maitre d' to porters.   Near the airport, large and very well appointed room, we booked a seaview room and thought it well worth it, superlative breakfast includingan orange squeezing machine and Cretan specialites with a notice sayingwhat they were.
