  This hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke very good english. The hotel room was excellent and very close to the castles. Nice restaurants very nearby, walking distance from train station. Hotel had such a great breakfast in the morning including champagne. Would highly recommend this hotel. Great location for the castles, shops and restaurants. We would go back and spend a longer time to explore the area. Easily the best hotel we had on our vacation, which included nights at 3 and 4 star chain hotels in some of the bigger cities in Bavaria and Tirol.

  The hotel and restaurant were both wonderful. We had a very good and reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was one of the best that we had during our trip. The chocolate shop at the hotel had a very good selection of beautifully made candies. The staff were also very friendly and went out... mitä ihmiset sanovat » of their way to ensure that we had a nice stay. - Fantastic hotel, it is located right in the center of the town, so very easy to walk out the door and explore Fussen. Onsite parking is in the back of the hotel. Our family room was large, very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the town square and the mountains. The hotel has a bakery as a storefront and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very generous and excellent.

  My stay in the hotel was excellent and I liked everything from theappartment to the breakfast variety and the good food in the resturant.I am a frequent traveller and I went in many hotels around Europe but Ithink the Helmerhof is one of the best I stayed in. - Great breakfast, pleasant roomy accommodation, helpful staff.   We liked the openness of the space (even with 6 people it felt like lots of room), the decor (especially in the master bathroom), the functionality of the kitchen, and the very comfortable exit we had right into the front yard with the lawn chairs and our own patio table. Of course the location was superb - we thoroughly enjoyed having a 'home bas... mitä ihmiset sanovat » e' for daily biking trips around the the lakes and mountains. All in all, it was excellent. We felt right at home. - We - myself and hubby, my two teenagers and my parents - loved Luna Mia (Apt 3). The location could not be beat. Beautiful surroundings everywhere you look. The apartment was very spacious with stainless steel appliances and granite counter top in kitchen. The bathrooms were luxurious.
