  We chose to eat at the refuge. We shared a table with the other guests and our host who cooked the meal. Food was excellent - very good value and we enjoyed the French conversation. No problem about having breakfast before our early departure. We would choose to stay there again over hotels nearer the airport - Nice family runs hotel.   The owner Niclola was very hospitable. The hotel is lovely and newly renovated. It is in a quaint countryside location near the town of Senlis. Senlis is a beautiful old town with winding cobblestone streets with ample shopping and little restaurants. We stayed here the night before we had to depart from the airport.
