  A delightful experience all round. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. We had a garden view room which was wonderful with a comfy canopy bed. Yes it would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room (see other reports), but it's available on room service and they were happy to provide us with a kettle. There are lovely countryside views - Just returned from a wonderful stay at this delightful Logis, located in beautiful countryside yet within ten minutes of towns and chateaux. The garden rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool and tennis court immaculately maintained. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Excellent food is served in a very inviting room and I'm already looking forward to returning.

We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming.   The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. We had many requests for extra towels,ashtray for cigars, directions, etc, and each was met with a smile. Wewould love to return. If I were to go back again, I'd want to stay again at Le Manois Saint Thomas. I recommend it highly!

  I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops.
