  My wife & I were pleasantly surprised at this small boutique hotel. It is located right in the middle of Prague's Old Town and close to Charles Bridge. All major attractions are within an easy walk (even for a pair of middle aged people). There are great restaurants right on the doorstep or again an easy walk to the square. We would highly recommend the Aurus Hotel - The staff made Aurus. The girl on reception while we were there (Marina I think, 10th to 12th May) was absolutely brilliant. She was so helpful and seemed happy to help. It was a pleasure to deal with her. She deserves a big bonus as we'd recommend Aurus based on her welcoming and helpful nature! :) There was a little cleaning lady also who seemed very happy and nice.

  We called staff before coming and they arranged for pick-up from the train station without even asking. We arrived late and somebody met us at the door to let us in and gave the keys. The next day we went to the office to extend our stay because we really love the place and service.   Mary's Travel was thoroughly professional. The flat was clean and very comfortable. Despite the busy location on Karlovy, it was quiet because it faces the back. We used their transfer service.   The location was great to get to all the sites. We did the free castle and free city tour which was only 5 minutes away from our hotel. The photos were very true to the apartment. We stayed in a two bedroom and had lots of room to move around. There was a closet in the living room for our coats and other things. The kitchen was enough to make - This place is just lovely - the most perfect location, and a really beautiful apartment that's fantastic value for money. You're only a few moments from the old town square, the Charles Bridge, and a host of shops and pubs, yet it's very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are fabulous - our apartment had an amazing painted ceiling, spiral staircase up to a beamed attic bedroom, and amazing views but also all the mod cons and a very useful kitchen.   The apartment is superb. It's small and perfectly designed. Luxurious but not gaudy. The hotel is small and very privates which is such a refreshing change from the big business hotels that feel cold and generic. Apartments are comfortable, clean and fresh it looks like it was built only weeks ago. Another big plus is the hotel i - This was my third stay at Almandine. Lov it. Location is perfect, just off the main square and 5min walk from the Charles bridge. Easy to reach all the sites from here. Staff was so helpful, and the food was terrific. Apartments were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.
