The staff was excellent - very friendly and helpful, and they spoke English very well. The location is very good and really easy to find, just outside the north wall of the palace. We only stayed in this apartment one night, with a very last-minute (same day) booking, but were really impressed with the place. All the lighting, fittings and decoration are beautiful, the bed was comfy, and we enjoyed the complementary fruit and coffee. If you prefer self-catering this is much, much nicer than an equivalent hotel for the price.

The owner was extremely helpful, very friendly and warm. He was very kind to organise the taxi transfer from Split airport and let us leave our suitcases in the apartment before the actual check in time. We arrived late in the evening with a little toddler and had to organise something to eat. Pave showed us where the nearest supermarket is and where we could get a take away. He made us feel very welcome.

You check in at a youth hostel over the street which is great as it means you can check in at nearly any time of day plus you can leave your bags there if needed. This was an excellent stay. When our flight was delayed and re-routed Tony stayed up and met us at 1:30 am at the bus station.
