The famous Zlatni Rat Beach is an easy and pleasant 2 mile walk along the shore. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very well appointed on the inside, although less prepossessing from outside. Wonderful location close to the promenade and numerous restaurants. The best plus however and despite all the positive reviews was House Racic itself which exceeded our high expectations. Spotlessly clean great facilities ,beautifully furnished and most unexpectedly really cosy. Jaska, the housekeeper was friendly' but unobtrusive.   The apartment was conveniently located a five minute walk from the Diocletian's Palace on a quiet narrow street. Josko, your host, is wonderful and attentive and will do what he can to make sure you enjoy your stay. Located less than 5 minutes walk from Diocletian's Palace, the apartment was a tranquil oasis tucked away in a backstreet. It was very well maintained and had all the facilities for self catering. Goran who looks after the place was very friendly and accommodating. Would happily stay there again if visiting Split.
