  Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!

  The owner of the house made our stay!! First when we arrived he offered us couple of glasses of schnapps he produces. Then he was always available for helping us organizing the rest of our trip and giving us some tips. Finally before we left he prepared us couple of coffees to "feel" better. Friendly (most Croations are) attendant knew Tiho (owner of Apts San Antiono), and called him for us. Tiho in car was there in no time, a nice surprise to what would have been a 15 minute walk. Upon arrival, we enjoyed some of his home-made artisanal schnapps. Retiring to a clean, spacious room, I would have prefered a double bed to share with my wife, but it was comfortable.   Was probably the most clean and spacious apartment we stayed on our trip. Family of four and had a lounge room and dining room so plenty of space . Aircon and wifi excellent unlike some other places we stayed . The host made us pita and offered drinks on arrival and was very kind and friendly .
