Hyvä sijainti, uudenveroinen apartamentos-tyyppinen huoneisto - The hotel owners mid-20's son greeted us in the parking lot. He arranged to take care of our parking pass. He helped carry some luggage. As we arrived at 8pm, the owner(mother) had prepared a plate of ham and cheese and olives that was delightful, knowing we hadn't eaten dinner yet!

Ankica was so welcoming, she answered all my correspondence, had her lovely husband collect us from the bus, gave us a bottle of her home made cherry brandy that was magnificent, and was available for any queries that we had. I have never been given such a welcoming anywhere else, she is a lovely lady and I would never hesitate in totally recommending Apartment Familia to any other travellers. Minutes to restaurants and a very short stroll to the beach and markets.

Very spacious, with a balcony that looked out onto the Biokovo mountains - stunning. Easy access to beach and Makarska restaurants (we parked above the town opposite a school and a 10 minute walk). Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Best place we have stayed- location can't get any better than that.The service from 1st day to last was 1st class.The view from balcony awesome- food great and plentiful. Pool very relaxing.
