without a doubt the best B&B i've ever stayed in. The genuine warmth, hospitality and friendliness of the family was amazing. I've never eaten such a beautifully prepared breakfast, best scones, eggs, granola.....Sylvia is a fantastic cook and clearly loves what she is doing....and Ross was so helpful. No problem for him to fix anything, take you downtown etc. On arrival I was made to feel part of the family, and the house is stunning, Rooms are huge and beautifully decorated and attentio.
kaikki arvostelut » Sylvia the owner and her husband Ross made us feel welcome the minute we stepped in the door Even though we were early for check in they stored our luggage and served us cappuccino and scones while pointing out interesting things to do in Victoria. The room was amazing. We felt as if we were staying in a luxury apartment in Paris with views of the ocean and mountains. The room was just delightful with an eclectic selection of CDs and magazines that made us feel right at home. The breakfast each. We had a most wonderful stay at the Fairholme for our 24th anniversary. The room was very elegant and private with a romantic atmosphere. Location very relaxing, quiet and yet close enough to the city centre. Sylvia and Ross are lovely and made us feel very welcome and at home. Breakfast was perfect!! Sylvia so generously gave us one of her cook books as a gift for our anniversary! Can not wait to try the wonderful recipes! Best B&B experience we have had!. what an amazing get away.The hosts Ross and Sylvia are interesting and friendly.The place the decor the privacy of the suites were all fantastic.But the breakfast is out of this world.You have to come here just for that.Sylvia's food is done with such care and love you can taste it! I don't think there is a bed and breakfast out there that can compare.Need I say more.I could go on and on.we will definatley be back!. This inn is a true pleasure! The inn is eye candy for the mind body and soul. Sylvia and Ross are the utmost host and hostess. Our room the Olympic Suite was one of the most comfortable rooms ever, coffered high ceilings, large bay windows overlooking the water and mts.Every breakfast was gourmets dream with fresh fruits, yogurt,breads,scones,eggs,juice. Just the perfect spot!!. This was for our first year anniversary, and we were so happy to choose this hotel in Victoria. They have great breakfast(home-baked bread, yogurts, scrambled eggs..!!), and excellent hospitality. Room was super clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable and spa tub was unforgettable! Thank Sylvia and Ross for making our anniversary so beautiful and special!!! :). Our room was spatious and very comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding in terms of taste and variety. Our overall experience was a very pleasant one. We especially appreciated the care extended to us by our hosts, Ross and Sylvia. We look forward to staying there once again when we return to Victoria for a visit. it is indeed a treat to stay at fairholme manor inn . not only is the house comfortably elegant and the breakfast sublime but the hosts are truly gracious and very helpful in promoting the interesting sights and merchants of lovely victoria bc! we hope to return soon. -small but verry cosy stay -beautifull place and surroundings -nice interior/cosy atmosphere -particularly liked the details (flowers-chocolates on the bed-service with breakfast,..) -appreciate the tips for dinner downtown. Hostess and Host: Sylvia and Ross; food; atmosphere; flowers; hospitality; graciousness; accommodations; location; Govt. House gardens next store; restaurant recommendations; directions; in short; everything. I loved the setting and the neighborhood, the short walk to a local public garden, the comfortable, cozy rooms and the delicious breakfast. Our host was a gem!! It was a delight to stay there!!!. The property was so great and the food even better. Our room and accommodations were so delightful. Everything about the fabulous Fairholme was First Class. We will come back!!. Charming over 100 year old home in a fabulous Victoria BC neighborhood. Delightful and most helpful hostess and host; easy access to town, to beach and marina areas. One of the nicest places we have stayed anywhere: beautiful setting, outstanding breakfast, great room, central location and lovely hosts. What more could you ask?. Very relaxing. Beautiful setting with gardens and both an ocean and mountain views out of the huge windows. Breakfast was outstanding!. everything was perfect. the host has an excellent taste for decoration and breakfast. the place was quiet and extra comfortable. Room was superb. Breakfast was outstanding. Proprietors were exception and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Sylvia and Ross were great! Very friendly, helpfull and kind. The breakfast was excelent!!! Very well recomended. Everything was wonderful! The staff are extremely nice; the property is beautiful; the food was exceptional!. View, room, food, proprietors, location. everything perfect♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪♡. C'mon.....whats not to like! I have travelled extensively around the world and this place takes the prize for the best of everything. That I had to leave!. About 3-4 mins of drive and 10-15mins of walk to downtown or inner harbor (if you want to stay in downtown). Instead, it has a very nice and quiet neighborhood which I like a lot. -hard to find; but intimate -old doors with old keys ..(difficult to open). Loved everything!. Nothing. Except, we had to leave. Lol. wish i stayed longer. The shortness of our stay. The temperature in Victoria was unusually warm, as was our room. It was difficult to rest at night with those temperatures. The staff did their best by providing fans and that did help. Nothing.
