  The room we had booked was a studio loft with a kitchen, the room they checked us into at the Lizard Creek Lodge was in building 2, and it had 2 bedrooms a full living room, and a full equipped kitchen. Oh, and a jacuzzi! I am not sure if this was because the hotel was busy, or it was a mistake, but we certainly were not disappointed.   We came in off season as to us it would be too busy in high season. We were upgraded to a lovely 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for the price!! I liked being able to walk everywhere as my husband needs a wheelchair for long walks. It is close to the border to slip over for a few hours. Close to golfing and wineries. - The view of the lake and the vineyards across the lake was fantastic. Loved the morning sun coming over the mountains. Having a full kitchen and two baths was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable. Having a dining room/bar was a nice feature. We came for the FOG and enjoyed our stay at the Resort very much. The lobby is fantastic as well. Super staff. Very relaxing. Loved the town.
