  We enjoyed our time at this bed & breakfast inspite of very poor weather Our hostess was very friendly, accommodating & helpful. She advised us of places to visit & eat in the area & also took time to ensure our breakfast was as we desired. This proved to be excellent value for money & I would thoroughly recommend it. - Such a lovely couple of days. Gail and Jack made us feel really at home with lots of helpful advice about the area. Our two bedroom suite was beautifully decorated and super-comfortable, we both slept so well. We loved the views of the lake and surrounding mountains and watched the sunset both nights from our outdoor patio with a bottle of wine, bliss!

Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive.   The hotel exceeded our expectations on almost all counts. The service, the staff, the location , the hotel ambiance , the food, etc. all exceeded the high standards that we were looking for.   My girlfriend and I have been to the Nita Lake Lodge twice this year, once in the winter and once in the summer and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay! One thing we didn't get a chance to take advantage of on this last trip was the complimentary bike, canoe, or kayak rentals available. The shuttle bus service they offered was amazing and so useful. Thanks so much for that. The room was brilliant, really high quality finish. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It was my girlfriends birthday and they left a card and a treat in the room which was a nice touch.

  We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. Golden is a great location as it is close to Banff NP, and other national parks. We also stopped off at Field, a small mining town o - CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Did not want to leave
