This was a great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has recently been renovated so everything is new and very nice. The restaurant looked great but we did not eat there. We prefer picnics outdoors in the summer. This is a great location and value for money considering the great views from every room. -service was excellent -location was great -food was better than expected -we would book again as this hotel is close and convenient to the old kingston district. -we walked everywhere and I'm not much of a walker.

Those people having difficulties in parking should consider taking a smaller car. Friendly staff and we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. For this we had our room upgraded and had our parking fees waived. We couldn't have been happier or better received. Thank you. When we arrived there was no record of our booking but the staff soon remedied that and we were put in room originally booked. Fantastic location with great bar and restaurant, highly recommended. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Great water view. Hotel in great location for tourism. Appreciated the free wifi access. Restaurant food was great, albeit a little pricey. My room wasn't ready when it was supposed to be. I didn't have to wait 5 minutes before I was offered a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was an incredible room adding to my experience. The look, new lobby, restaurant, halls looked good. the room was pretty good. The flat screen was good. The location is good. Overall feeling was positive. The quality of the Kleenex in the room is poor compared with the rest of the hotel. Overall though this place is fantastic. Renos were inconvenient at no falt of hotel. letsbookhotel.com could have let us know. nothing. Nothing. Rooms very functional for business purposes, a little "cold" for personal - definitely leans more towards the business traveller than the family/leisure traveller. Elderly mother complained that air from heater/cooler blew directly on her and made her uncomfortable. On the first floor it looks as though you should have a balcony. The fence is up and everything. No access though. Unfortunate, but I got over it quickly. It did not ruin anything. No pool, room cleaning didn't give us three towels which we had the first day, plus they missed giving us a bath mat. Not critical though, we saw it as non typical. TV stations were not easy to sort through. Program would have helped. Basically no real complaints. The parking - There's probably not much you can do but it is narrow and some spots are difficult to get in and out of. Plug by bed did not work. It wasn't a big deal but the parking was a bit awkward. Entrance is kind of strange. The food in the restaurant. The toilet was a little to close to the shower. Pool was closed for renovation and they didn't tell us until after we had booked in. Disappointing as we were looking forward to the pool. price was rather high for the off-season. The pool was closed which was not mentioned neither on the website nor when we checked in. After complaining at the reception we got a free breakfast. Stayed on 3rd floor and heard music from 6th floor form wedding. Will NOT stay here again if there's wedding reception at hotel. And will tell friends same thing. Very disappointed that for price paid we could hear music. Wasn't informed that the pool and hottub was closed. The noise in the hallway instead of painting the doors they should have made them bigger and sound proof.And they should have put a notice that the pool was closed. the entrance was horrible. We almost did not stay there. There was no place to park during check-in so we pulled in next to a wall and put on our blinkers. The weird blue light made it feel like a sketchy entrance. I would not have stayed here by myself. Entrance is through underground parking lot. Charged 3% for "Destination Marketing Fee" and $15 a night for parking which wasn't communicated in advance. Staff booking us in was not well informed. Asked her if hotel under renovations. She said "no". When we asked about pool facilities, she claimed is was not working due to renovations??? Staff should be better trained to be informative. Having to pay for parking; Room door was not snug as there was open spacing between top of door and frame; Could not get out of parking as room key didn't work. Busters Festival made getting around hard and parking was a bad situation both times I came in to find a spot My bill came up with another person dining bill and then your staff had a hard time assuring that correction to the bill was made. I trust I will see the refund. I did not like to have to pay for parking while being a guest at the hotel. will not stay there again. Noisy people running down the halls - nothing done by staff to stop it- called front desk second time and they never answered!.
