Location was excellent. You are right in the middle of everything. Trolley and boat cruises are right there. Staff was excellent and helpful. Included breakfast was very good, lots of variety Farmers market across the street Tuesday and Thursdays. We enjoyed our lake view from our room We enjoyed our first visit to Kingston. So historical. Lots of street musicians and actors. Next time we will do the haunted tour.

The hotel is very well located and maintained. It was clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We like the fact that it is very close for what we wanted to do. Breakfast was good and the rooms are well kept. Staff helpful when we asked questions and able to help us find the places we were looking for. Beautiful location with water view, close to restaurants, short walk to tourist attractions, easy access to transportation for shopping. Reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. The front desk staff were willing to help us locate our travel destinations. The breakfast was adequate and in a nice setting. It was great to have a fridge and microwave in the room. We liked the view of the lake, the breakfast, the facilities in the room (fridge, microwave, coffee machine) comfortable beds and comfy chairs and table. The staff were excellent- helpful, friendly and welcoming. We were also travelling with our dog, and the care we received upon arrival was exceptional. rooms were great. It was right beside the Blues Festival and near the park and shopping of Kingston. It over looked the lake. Location of hotel is good ... along the lake with view of wolf island and close to trendy cafes. Good location at the waterfront with view. Room facilities generally ok. The breakfast was great. The room was clean.Till I looked under the bed!. Location is perfect and staff are very friendly. Convenient to downtown and cruise boat dock. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location. Friendly staff. Hotel needs updating. Hotel parking is scary. We parked at the lot across the street. It's the same price as the hotel, $20 per day. We had a corner room with one queen bed and it was rather small. 1. The wifi signal is weak. Indeed, you sometimes have to stay close to the door in order to get a 2 or 3 bar signal (we were on the 6th floor). 2. Parking is quite expensive and there are not a lot of available spots in the hotel's private parking. Nothing. Truly had no complaints. There was no blue box in the room to recycle cans. The room had stuff in the drawers from the past guests ( a half bag of beef jerky.). Fitness room has only 2 pieces of equipment. The bathroom could be updated as it had a bit of mould around tub. nowhere to plug in the computer without unplugging something else and it couldn't be on the table as there was no outlet near there. the carpets in halls need a good cleaning, a paint job would be required asap as gives bad impression when one enters hotel, would have been nice to sit on patio with a beer, glass of wine but was closed,,, Seasonal ???. Needed small hand towels on addition to the bath towels. TV not hi-def. pool only opens in July. The hotel has a tired look and feel, the elevators barely worked, it was quicker to run use the stairs from the sixth floor. I would like to see a full breakfast menu as part of the stay and also the parking included in the cost of staying there. Complementary breakfast is good provided you get there early to beat the tour bus crowd. Otherwise it's crowded and food runs short. the underground parking was difficult. Parking awkward, didn't move car but unfortunately not enough spaces to guarantee a spot when you return from an outing. Lots of outdoor cheaper lots if you didn't want to commit to $20 and staff were helpful to tell you these options. No hand towels; only bath and wash cloth. Parking in their garage is $20 a day/night. There is however parking opt right across the street for a bit less. That is what we did and it was fine. It's a little inconvenient to pay as there is a max limit, then you have to pay again..but we got up early and paid by 8am. nothing. Going from lobby to the garage was a bit dingy. This is a frequent traveled route, stairway lightning should be much brighter. Parking is extra but they did a free alternative that worked perfectly for us. Breakfast. some front desk staff. Dirty windows on the outside. Lack of Parking. the weather was very hot making air conditioning a necessity but the a/c unit was very noisy. Room was small. Poor lighting in room entrance where clothes rack is located. Too much furniture in room. Fridge not working which we only realized in the morning. 2 queen beds advertised but double size beds instead. Uncomfortable bed.... We had a bad night couple in room next door kept us up all night we were very upset we were staying there because my dad had surgery at kingston general hospital and my family need to be with him. breakfast. random parking underground. Elevators and hotel common areas require substantial investment and update; unappealing continental breakfast of poor quality, presentation and diversity; painfully slow wireless internet connection. It was run down, not very clean and extremely small. It's a 2 star hotel so what can be said about it. Were given a small corner room, but only found out later that most rooms are better (bigger/better view) and since we were there for only one night didn't bother trying to change. It's hot late June but air conditioning was much too noisy and too cold (right next to the bed) so we didn't sleep well. The parking fee. The pool was not kept up. The whirlpool was out of commission. The hotel looked run down. I found the hotel to be a bit shabby and not well maintained. It was probably a nice place 10 years ago. Wallpaper coming off walls, toilet running on, hair dryer malfunctioned, lack of parking to register, no restaurant, no ice machine on the floor and the one on the floor below was broken. The room (601) was too small for the furniture in it. The carpet had all kinds of stains. It is time to renovate and clean up, at least the room that we were in. This place desperately needs renovation. Too shaby. Parking policy is ridiculous.
