  Dj & Ana are a brilliant couple. They make an excellent breakfast with homemade pancakes and breads with flexible times as we had an early tour at 6.40am and could eat before we left. The farm is very relaxed and has lots of animals including 2 parrots that play beside the pool in the evening.   After staying in the Pantanal for a few days, this place seemed like a little slice of luxury even though the rooms are described as basic! They had everything we needed and more (nice to have a fridge to keep our drinks cold) Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous, 7 kinds of cake and homemade bread, 3 kinds of yoghurt. Staff is friendly and speaks some English. Bicycle rent is only 100 meters away (15 real per day).

  We liked the quiet surroundings just outside of Bonito. Some sightseeing trips start directly on the road in front of the Pousada. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Pool in the garden easily accessible from all bungalows. Staff and management was very helpful, also in booking the sightseeing trips.   Athenas Apart Hotel was a good choice to stay on arrival to Campo Grande, before going to the Pantanal or Bonito which are the main attractions in the area. The room was spacious and had an air con, and a little kitchen with hot plates and a fridge which was great! The hotel is close to the airport. - - Room was spacious and clean. - Proper shower (nice temperature and enough water coming out). - Close to airport (taxi costs +- 20/25 real) - We were checking in late, the man at reception helped us well. - Breakfast was good.
