After staying in the Pantanal for a few days, this place seemed like a little slice of luxury even though the rooms are described as basic! They had everything we needed and more (nice to have a fridge to keep our drinks cold) Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Great to have a pool to chill out in at the end of a busy day. The pousada is new!! Good spacious rooms and nice beds. Very nice garden. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous, 7 kinds of cake and homemade bread, 3 kinds of yoghurt. Staff is friendly and speaks some English. Bicycle rent is only 100 meters away (15 real per day).
