  Absolutely loved this hotel! on outskirts of Salzburg but very easy to get into town via local bus -2 blks from hotel. Room was extra large and super clean. Very quiet and the views are beautiful Breakfast and restaurante facility was great; many gasthof in the neighborhood as well. Staff was exceptional with any questions. After several nights in noisy city hotels, we were thankful for this location with mountain views from each window, away from city noise, but just a 15-minute bus ride into Salzburg from a bus stop 5 minutes away. Breakfast was bountiful and we had delicious dinners there both nights.

It's a pretty easy walk to the hotelfrom the main train station, although I get lost usually my first timein every new city. Area seems safe despite some "adult-based" shops thatAmericans may equate with a bad neighborhood, which it is not.
