  We stayed in the two/three bed-roomed apartment. The apartment was well equipped for our needs and very well situated just across the river from the old town. The member of staff that greeted us on our arrival at 10.30 pm was very friendly and accommodating. The location is close to bus routes, only a short walk into the centre of Salzburg and but in a quiet area. On the day of our departure, the elevator was briefly out of order and the staff carried our very heavy bags down six flights on their own initiative. - It's the second time we stay at the elefant and i don't see any reason to look for another hotel in Salzburg anytime soon.Excellent location,big beautiful rooms,very good restaurant and the nicest front desk staff i've ever met (IRIS rules!!!)
