  Having been to Sydney several times staying at different hotels each time (4 or 5 stars),we always break up our stays with two hotels for variety. The Intercontinental on Circular Quay had the most professional,helpful and friendliest staff of all the hotels we've stayed at in Sydney. We managed to get the room at a reasonable rate and took advantage of this. The - loved the location perfect for access to see the Opera Carmen at Mrs Macquaire :Point. Loved being able to walk through Royal Botanical Gardens (had a picnic) and easy acces to shopping with the free green bus just up the road. Our view from 2218 was excellent - we were really thrilled. Big thanks to the Conceirges who made our requests for massages and restaurants easy. Clean rooms and great facilities in the rooms. Provided Great information to guests in rooms. Reception staff very friendly and highly recommended. Big plus to to gentlemen whom checked us in very rare to find good, friendly helpful service. Will defenitely book with you again and will recommend to family and friends

  It was sheer pleasure to stay at Quay West! The Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and bent over backwards to be helpful. I ordered Room Service breakfast which was delivered hot and on time and it was everything and more than I expected.   I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The internet access was exc - There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments. It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked. I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

If you fany a splurg, stay a couple of nights, it's lovely. I had a standard room this time on the city side, but last time I was lucky enough to get a deluxe suite over two levels that was sublime.
