  As an Events Manager I had traveled from nz to organised a ladies night out for a friends birthday at the Sheraton Sydney. As soon as we walked in the doors we were treated like princesses and the service continued till we were spoilt rotten. I was raised up with lavished hotels so I have high and fussy expectations. The bathroom bat - We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. The full breakfast available in the dining room had everything anyone could ask for from hot porridge through to bread and butter pudding with whipped cream.   Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. Botanic Garden was also just across the street which was great. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the room was very comfortable and the balcony was great too. I would recommend it. - I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

  I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The internet access was exc - There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments. It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked. The Intercontinental on Circular Quay had the most professional,helpful and friendliest staff of all the hotels we've stayed at in Sydney.   Our stay here was perfect. Having stayed in the Campbell Street Meriton before we knew the quality was great but we were looking for something closer to Surry Hills this time. Danks Street is a great location just far enough from the city to escape the hustle bustle and enjoy some boutique shopping and delicious food. That being said, on our 1st taxi ride from downtown area, we were a bit nervous about the area. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood was an area which was in the process of being upgraded and our immediate area was all done and people living all around the hotel area. With a small store around the corner, we were able to buy a bus pass of 10 tickets and that reduced the cab fare hugely. There are some nice little rest

I stayed one night with a friend and we came to Bondi to do some shopping at the Westfield and it was very convenient to go to the shopping centre from the apartments. The train and bus stations were very close and such an ease to get too as we were heading for a music course at Kings Cross that night. The facilities at the apartment were very nice and great!
