It's a wonderfully romantic setting. I love these old hotels and it was so nice to see one beautifully restored and in use as accommodation. We had our own semi-private balcony - such a treat. Very spacious room. The man on the counter was super friendly and the room very classy with quality art and furnishings. Though on the main road I found the room very quiet of a night. lovely room, great decor, comfortable. excellent bathroom. close to restaurants and shops. good stopover one hour from Adelaide. very quiet and private.

I checked in before 2 pm. good servies with the reception. comfortable room with a big balcony. good location near the supermarket，very convenient. Value for money. We stayed in front rooms with balcony. Spacious well appointed rooms. Gas heaters on verandah were a bonus. Rooms well presented, good facilities. Have stayed here previously and love the choice of rooms/ tariffs. Room was clean and comfortable, good size TV with ensuite bathroom. Would recommend. have stayed here before, love the place, very comfy and pleasant. budget priced and provided all we wanted for a one night stay. my wife and I liked every thing about our stay there. Room so tidy and good. Four Poster!. Location. Central location, but its a small town. Room was ok but no view of anything. quiet well-situated. I was cold at night. I don't like to heat the room using the air conditioning and there was but a thin covering on the bed. stairs, although we had allowed for, and had two overnight bags instead of suitcase, so no problem. reception closed, however, access made easy with phone call and security code. Not a thing. shared bathroom. Friends stayed in four poster room. Bathroom dated and not heated. No lifts for disabled. Nothing. that you have made the balcony no smoking :(. nothing. there wasn't anything we did not like. Kitchenette.....no running water or sink. Fridge had leaky seals. Noisy and wasting electricity, please fix!. Parking - function on at Town Hall made it hard to find a park nearby until 11 pm. It was expensive for what it offered. For a country town, it should have been cheaper. Poor access on arrival as it was upstairs and if unattended you could not get in. However the host was helpful. A lot of stairs to carry suitcases up. no access, no reception, had to ring to get the key. If I had no phone I would not have had access to my room which I booked in advance. Super cold, bathroom facilities were pretty old and the price was way too high for what we got.
