It was beautiful! Reminded of me of my old house, I felt very much at home. Couldn't believe how good the price was either. The room was spacious, had everything we needed for our one night stay. Bed was comfy. The service was exceptional, we were greeted as soon as our taxi arrived. Definitely would stay there again. This hotel subscribes to the expectations of people that visit/stay at hotels that have the ambience of the old great houses with luxury fittings and antique furniture, hotels with character and old fashioned service - not the soulless modern hotel rooms.
kaikki arvostelut » It was a lovely welcoming place to stay and we were surprised that renovations were about to start as the old world charm was an appealing factor of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay in. The location was great for our purposes - needed to get an early flight the following morning and wanted somewhere nice to stay within easy reach of the airport. The view was fantastic. Design of room in particular the basin/vanity area (& wardrobe) location & being separate from the bathroom/toilet. The included undercover parking. I loved all the friendly staff the roomwas amazing :) i really enjoyed my stay but wish i could have stayed longer. Very friendly staff, great food for room service, quick trip to brizzy, riverside views, big balcony, comfy bed. Location to the venue for the wedding we attended. Spacious room and separate bathroom to vanity room. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed, clean room, view over the racecourse, no noise from outside. Reminds me of getting home, great welcome always and no issue is too much trouble, highly reccomend. Brilliant view of river from my river view room, Comfortable bed, but the blankets were very heavy. Manager very helpful. I was only there for one night! :(. The cost of breakfast was one thing we didn't like. It appeared that to have fruit, yoghurt and cereal you needed to have a continental breakfast at a cost of $38. This we thought was rather expensive. Nothing really - only very minor gripe that there was only one tea cup in the room and the milk in the fridge had been opened - these were addressed by staff prompty and in a very efficient and friendly manner. Some décor showing age. I had to leave. Bed too soft. Nothing. Price, could be a little cheap for room. Spa bath in room did not function. No Complaints. I prefer to have open windows. I found the AC too cold even though I tried the heating component. Also with an elderly father the shower over the bath was inaccessible to him. I guess I need to check these things next time I book. was only there for one night, the impending upgrade to the hotel is going to take its charm away. Transport on river. All ok!. Condition of pool/spa, needs major refurbishment. The air conditioning wasn't cool enough, was hard to get comfortable at night. Room furniture etc needs upgrading, no scales in bathroom Internet very expensive! paid nearly 50 dollars for 2 days!! Restraunt limited menu, also expensive not much atmosphere. Breakfast every day the same. Will be ok only for 2-3 days not longer. The warm part of the Breakfast was could and to much of Japanes. Construction starting from eight o'clock in the morning. Can not sleep. Room are dirty. The fact that when I booked was not informed of the building alterations that were going on and my room was noisy, my room was also poorly cleaned with items of rubbish on the floor when we arrived. I was booked for 5 nights and checked out after one yet the staff did not even bother to ask why we were checking out, they simply did not seem to care. If it was my hotel I'm sure if some was cutting short their intended stay by so much I would have my staff enquire as to why. Filthy window in my first room but the manager changed me to a room with a clean window. Filthy computer facility in a back office made me feel cringy. Mould in the bathroom. The choice was a nice spa bathroom with a filthy window or a mouldy bathroom with a clean window!.
