The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Decent price and good location right in downtown State College. Walking distance to university. Mad Mex restaurant right in hotel, although plenty of options within blocks. Staff were excellent (accommodated me easily with a cancelled flight). Shuttle from airport (and were even willing to shuttle me to a place in town).

Wifi was a bit weak on the 5th floor in the smoking wing of the hotel. It was always there, but at times it loaded very slowly so I had to switched to 4g off and on.

The bed was comfortable and the entire room felt clean.

The pool was very cold and there was no continental breakfast.

I love the location. It's the best thing about the place. I liked the refrigerator in the room and coffee in the lobby. It's clean and close to everything. It's the best location in town.

Needs real milk or cream for the coffee. Micorowae would be nice. The wifi was horrible.

Super friendly staff! Love MadMex, the restaurant next door. Great location in the heart of State College.

The hair dryer failed and after calling front desk, a person brought a hand blower up to room within the hour. Terrific.

A storm blew through the area and our electricity went off around 8 p.m. till 4 a.m. but so did the whole street.

Loved that it was close to all the shops and to the Penn State campus.

The air conditioner was extremely loud and there was no parking available because there was a wedding at the facility. I had to drive around for over 45 minutes to try and find a spot. Finally had to pay fro parking for several hours until the wedding party left. Never reimbursed by hotel. So much for free parking for hotels guests!

Kids yelling and running in the hallways very late into the night......Young kids under 14 were in the fitness area using machines......

I participated in a conference at Penn State University.I was out the door ar 8am and coming back after 9 pm. I didn't have much time to take advantages of facilities. I liked the location, it was walking distance from Alumni building.I liked the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and hearthe birds in the morning.

Nicely clean and comfortable, convenient location which close to center of Penn State University Park campus, staffs are friendly and helpful.

When checked out, they charged higher price than the price we got when booked with letsbookhotel.com. However, they refunded the overcharged difference when I showed them the booking price on the Booking Conformation from letsbookhotel.com

I was bringing my son back after the Easter weekend and didn't want to drive back home that evening. I also didn't want to spend a lot for basically just a night's sleep. We usually stay at the Atherton but when I went online they wanted $30.00 more for a room than than the Days Inn (that's my gas $ amount for my drive home!). My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised. We loved the commons area, very pretty, and the pool was nice. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and the front desk staff was informative and friendly as well as the cleaning staff who greeted us. We will definately be back!

Location. Refrigerater in all rooms. Staff was friendly. They Did take 20.00 off one room for having a feces covered toilet.

Very worn out. Needs remodled. Bathroom extremely dirty in both rooms I booked. Sink leaked.carpets in hallway very strained. No commentary breakfast. Not enough parking on the weekend

staff member was going to put us on first floor near Mexican restaurant that was having margharita mondays despite asking for a quiet room

I stayed there for 6 nights. My room was only cleaned 2 nights. On one occasion I asked about getting my room cleaned at 5:00pm and was informed that the cleaning staff had left.

After long day of psu student orientation we had NO POWER !!! The hotel should've had a backup generator to accommodate us since we paid good money for this it was Hot and uncomfortable the entire night and we could not shower until next morning I stayed here twice will Not book here again across the street had power !!!'
