Everything was fine and good. Great location, near the metro and bus stations. USC and expo center in 5 minute walking distance. Several places to eat are also close to hotel. -

I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance. Great restaurants,
movie theather, bowling alley, and Target. When I had a problem with my
room type and the non working refrigerator they addressed it the next
morning, apologized repeatedly,offered a 50.00 credit toward the room
without me asking and provided complimentary bottles of cold bevera

The hotel is in the heart of the action-- a short walk to the Staples Center & events. Lots of restaurants in the area-- all within walking distance. The hotel has a wonderful lobby area lounge and a great restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

What did I like about the hotel? Everything! All the staff were very friendly and polite and the hotel was very homely and stylish. I will definitely recommend it to my friends who may be staying in LA and will be back again for another great experience if I come back to LA. Thank you for an excellent stay. -

The photo's do not do this hotel justice! The essence of this hotel of rich history or sport, that dark, seductive feel to the rooms- it really was such a wonderful stay! As soon as we arrived this hotel captured us. It's location was easy
to find from the airport (though the driving on the other side of the
road/car was a little taxing). The Standard sign placed upside down,
the fire heated outside seating area, the colouful indoor waiting area
with pool table, warm and welcoming staff with a hairdressers and shop

all waiting when you enter. We were upgraded to a room with a larger bed
and docking station (the bed being the biggest ive seen, let alone slept
in) -
Everything was perfect. Excellent staff, special mention to Rodrigo, very helpful since the very beginning. The Rooftop is simply amazing, with a nice atmosphere and good music. We did not used the pool as it was always full, LOL. The location is also very good, with the 7th street Metro station 2 blocks away.

I liked the fact that it is an old hotel, which has a lot of class. I have been there before and with a city the size of LA, I feel comfortable with the location. I requested the highest floor possible and the quietest area and my requests were honored.
