The new managers had just taken over and had many issues to deal with. They made us feel very welcome and accomodated our needs well. The hotel needs some TLC but is comfortable and the rooms were adequate for the price. Overall, a nice place to stay near to the city (15 Min) walk or bus directly outside, generous parking area. -

there was some road noise but I suspect they are in a conservation area so double glazing is not possible

Very friendly and warm welcome to the accommodation, and it was nice to receive an email from the guest house prior to arrival asking for any special dietary or arrival requirements. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Hosts are very knowledgable of the local area and happy to help. Food was excellent. Would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to York city centre with the Minster being around a 10min walk away.

Buenas instalaciones, servicio y excelente relacion precio calidad. Lo recomiendo. - The people in the reception were very friendly. They allowed us to check in early. The room was clean and in perfect conditions. In fact, this hotel looks like a 4-5 stars hotel. It is located at a walking distance from the rail station and close to the cathedral.

The room was immaculate and very cosy, only a short walk away from the city centre. Breakfast - delicious. Overall, couldn't have asked for more. We thoroughly recommend it!
