  The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. I loved the Victorian atmosphere and design. The food was excellent and so was the on premise pub. Access to the city center is a major plus. The only discrepancy was the beds. The mattresses are box springs basically. Other than that on a rating of 10 (best) to 1 (worst) I say about 7. - Fabulous place! Like an old coaching inn redecorated in Edwardian times. Extremely elegant furniture and wallpaper, and a wonderful four poster bed. Why is this place not in the "hotels" category? I can't see why anyone would want to stay anywhere else in Walsall.
