I went to Whitley bay with a group of friends for a hen weekend . This hotel had everything to offer , the location is great and the staff were very friendly and could'nt do enough for us . ... lo que la gente dice » ark in quiet position 250 yds from blue flag beach - My room was a lovely, welcome surprise after a very long tiring journey. Really clean, bright and spacious. The facilities were perfect, the room actually has a small basic kitchen with a sink, kettle, microwave and fridge which was extremely handy and the staff were very friendly and attentive with out being intrusive. All in all I was very impressed.

During our holiday we visited four establishments and this was the least expensive but we had a large, clean room which had good storage and a comfortable bed and was charmingly decorated in restful colours and equipped with a superb shower. The coffee served at this bed and breakfast was far better than at the other three, more expensive places.

On arrival I was met by a senior member of staff who booked me in ,
gave me directions etc. On asking another member of staff if there
"was a bar onpremises" he replied no but that guests would
be made welcome in the local cricket club across the road. This was a
great facility in which to unwind/ relax away from the noisy bars
of Jesmond. A good selling point for future residents( maybe you
should incorporate free guest passes into the cricket club as part of
guests stay.

Very, very nice staff. The breakfast (which was included in the price) was excellent and they even served it when you were a few minutes late. WiFi was available for free as well. -

The staff were very kind and friendly. They were interested in our visit and made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and a reasonable size. The location was excellent and as we went out on a night it was not far to walk back and we was near a wide range of food outlets. It was very modern and the bathroom facilities were most pleasing.
