After reading some other reviews we were a little worried about our
stay. We have to say that our stay was excellent, our room was spotless

I liked the fact that it was a new hotel and reasonably priced. As we
travelled as a family it was good that we were put on the top floor away
from noisier guests.
We did have to ask for bedding for my son to sleep on the sofabed as this wasn't supplied, but this was resolved very quickly - staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. When bedding was delivered the guy asked if he could help putting it on the bed, which was very kind (sorry don't know his name).

The location of the hotel was convenient to where I had to be the next day for a conference. Every hotel has it's own personality but share a common set of standards and values... all very high. I like the wine list... Manchester had a special wine list which I would have liked to see in Newcastle. Young but not 'trendy'. The staff seem happy to be there!

Hotel was amazing from checking in to booking out. Interior design was
5* in our opinion. Modern contemporary and extremely comfortable.
Bedrooms were fabulous, from decor to complimentary refreshments,
bathrobes right down tho the Aveda products in the bathrooms. Cocktails
are a definite must, as is food, especially breakfasts which we enjoyed
in bed. Last but definitely not least .... The Staff... 5*++++++++ could
not do enough for us and nothing was ever any trouble they definitely

The pool attendant was also very helpful in his manner and advice as to what to see and do in the city and the pool and leisure facilties were spotless and a joy to use.

We only booked a standard double room for Sunday night (with a 1/3 off the usual rate) but on arrival we were given a free update to a suite with a fantastic sea view. The suite was enormous, newly refurbished and had everything we could possibly want. Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful and breakfast was also really good. Overall one of the really good hotels we have stayed in anywhere in U.K. A real gem. Well done to all concerned.

We would recomend the hotel perhaps most for the food they serve it was an exellent service & has to be rated 10/10, The breakfast is exellent & included in the price. The meals served on the menu are well worth a try. The hotel is situated just off the A1 & easy reach to most of Newcasastle. The hotel has been really nicely renovated

The location was perfect for our needs. A bus stop outside took us anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel itself was very good and I do not agree with the some of the reviews I have read. You must make sure ON ARRIVAL that reception staff know how much you have agreed to pay through letsbookhotel.com. Our bill would have been based on standard rates until corrected
