Before we even arrived the owners were really helpful and friendly. On arrival shown to our room (only two bedrooms). We had a mini fridge with fresh milk (beats UHT milk any day!). The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was lovely. The couple who own the b&b were so welcoming. Perfect location for alton towers and great value for money. Can't fault this place! Will definitely book here again if we go to alton towers.

This was our second stay at the Old Hall Country house and once again we had a comfortable stay , we were looked after by Gary , who made us very welcome and we were well catered for .There is also plenty on offer at breakfast . We stayed in The Queen Margaret Room which is a fabulous room full of character . Simon is also a fantastic host and this property is a credit to both of them.

With Dovedale literally just round the corner (by footpath!) the location of this B&B was perfect both for local walks and other Peak District attractions. Stanshope Hall is a fabulous place to stay. We got a last minute rate of £60 for a twin room which was exceptional value for money but I would not hesitate to stay again at full rate. Lynne, our hostess, was very friendly and gave us tea and home made flapjack on arrival in the lovely drawing room. The photos online do not do the twin room justice in my opinion, the bathroom in particular is excellent.

We stayed here whilst on a 2 day pass to Alton Towers. The guest house was located about 10 mins from the resort and was easy to find. Close to local shops/pubs/restaurants. The owners were lovely and friendly and cooked a really good breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean. Good value for money. -

Very good accommodation. A lovely room with excellent en suite. We particularly liked the small kitchen available for our use, although we only used it for making cups of tea. It was well equipped and its contents were well thought out. Phil was a very pleasant and likeable host. Loved the animals.

We stayed at the premier inn tamworth to be close to drayton manor. It's so so close it took 5 mins in the car. The hotel was lovely, staff greeted us when we arrived which was about 11pm at night and they were really pleasant and helpful. Rooms were comfy and bathroom had lovely bath and a shower. We had breakfast which was an all you can eat and

The lady who greeted us at reception had a trainee receptionist with her and was very supportive with the trainee but also extremely welcoming with us. She spoke with our 2 children with warmth and interest and then found out it was our youngest child's birthday the following day. The next morning a birthday card was put under our door from the staff and at breakfast staff at the beefeater brought 2 balloons over to our boys! It was a really nice touch and we very much appreciated it. Thank you

A very simple 10 minutedrive to Alton Towers and right on the doorstep for local amenities. TheHotel itself was very clean tidy and had a nice quiet but friendlyatmosphere. The meal we had in the evening was excellent and reasonablypriced. The staff where friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough foryou. Made us up Bacon sandwiches to go.

The staff were amazingly helpful as we were travelling with young children we had a few issues to get through but we were made to feel welcome from the first minute. The rooms were clean and well maintained, beds were comfortable and room temperature bathrooms etc very clean.They made every effort to make us comfortable and this went a long way to making our trip to the nearby theme park more enjoyable.

Ability to book up easily and be looked after efficiently. We only stayed one night after a wedding reception near by and were able to access town easily leaving car safely. We have been once in a group before on a Christmas do and were pleased our stay was as satisfying. thankyou for a good nights rest and excellent breakfast.x -
