The property was very tastefully decorated and had a very warm welcoming
feel to it. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing,
you didn't need to eat for the rest of the day there was so much
choice. It was a birthday treat and a card and gift was left in the room
which was totally unexpected and very kind, something that probably sets
them apart from other B&Bs. We would certainly return and recommend

Heather was extremely nice and welcoming during our stay and we had a wonderful time at The Hedges. Breakfast is excellent and more than readies you for a full day of walking around the city. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room itself is very charming.
The room was cosy, beautifully decorated, and charming. The shower was also excellent. Attention is paid to every detail, and I would definitely come back there!

Modern B and B. Host Vince was very welcoming and helpful. He offers more than expected eg . cheese bikkies and drinks on arrival, offered to make sandwiches lunch next day and in addition to usual B and B fare will change menu to suit the guest, will even print info to you from has computer! B and B in quiet rural area only 6 miles from city.

The lodge was immaculate and Vincent was very helpfull , the facilities were close enough to the city but not too close .
The local resteraunt was excellent and really relaxing with a few bars around , breakfast in the morning had everything anyone would need , couldn't fault the place .... Suuuuperb

Beautifuly decorated and very comfortable place to stay. Dean is a wonderful host - we felt like visiting an old friend. Good location as Edinburgh's Grouse House is situated in walking distance to all the attractions but far enough from them to easily find free parking. We will definitely stay there if we ever come back to Edinburgh. -

Everything suited us and we felt very comfortable and welcome from the time we arrived. Hostess takes care of guests and very warm and friendly. Felt like home. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We were allowed to use the whole house and garden. Through the hosterss we met new friends too.

It's a really lovely decorated house. The owners are extremely
friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really tasty with good choice of
food (glutenfree, vegeterian, vegan was no problem). The area was
extremely quiet during night time. The house is in walking distance to
the castle and the royal mile. There are several good restaurants in
walking distance (5-10 minutes).

Very friendly and served up a great breakfast! The host was very
friendly and wanted to please us in any way she could. Our gps did not
work well so we called and someone came and esorted us to the B&B.
