We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be! Tea making facilities saved time which would otherwise be spent having breakfast and allowed for an excuse to stop for breakfast at Tebay! - the very freindly staff and also was surprised how modern the rooms where, I had a fridge and iron in my room and also a work desk which was great for the extra £5 the Exec room is worth it. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be so. the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. just what we needed. the rooms were spacious and big enough and the beds were comfy.
clean bedding was everyday and the venue offered food and refreshments when required.
car parking appeared safe and secure and local facilities met all our needs.

Good clean accomodation in a spacious room, good shower pressure, comfy bed. We stayed for the one night as a place to get some sleep as we travelled down south, room had all we needed for the night. Plenty of parking available. Lady on reception was very friendly and ponited us in the direction for some places for dinner. Deals available on break

We had three rooms, the family room being a huge room with plenty of space for kids and parents. The employees were very kind. There was a fire in May and although the staff have done well at clean up, there is still a lingering smell of smoke in the main building..we had to get air spray to mask the smell. Breakfast was served in the adjoining pub, a full English or continental..fine but not fab. Good for seeing Stirling and Bourne Castles.

Comfortable room, with plenty of room to move around. Well furnished andnice decor. Well designed in terms of environmental concerns, the littleblue light in the bathroom was a great idea as I like to leave a lighton when staying in a "strange" room in case I need to get up in thenight. Excellent breakfast, very good place for an overnight stay. -

The room we were initially given was not set up for us and the receptionist quickly organised another room for us.
The breakfast was fab also which was included in the price of our staff.
Also the free parking onsite was an added bonus. -

Good value for being in a city.
The premier inns are a budget chain, and that is what this place was. It was very clean, very simple. A bit spartan in its furnishings, but had the things that are needed. Delightful young lady on the front desk that handled questions about eating and internet. Biggest selling point for this hotel is the Beefeaters

Reception staff very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Early check-in arranged over the phone the day before with no problems. Warned on arrival of potential boisterous football supporters staying, but heard nothing during the night. Would stay again. -

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly-can not praise them enough!!They are connected to the Lee Burn pub next door where breakfast is served and again, the staff were great and the choice of breakfast was vast...offering you extra if you wanted!!Late check out meant a very relaxed start to the day, again many thanks guys. -

The marvellous Meg on reception. Could not do enough for you and she cared that you enjoyed your stay. Otherwise the hotel was much like any other Premier Inn although undergoing extension new-build which did not detract. It is set in a small but very busy area easily reached from the M74 -
