was only in the isle of man working unfortunately but this hotel was exceptional, the staff faultless, hotel was very clean in a good location right on sea front and the breakfast was amazing the menu was extensive and you could have anything i had full manx and it was cooked to perfection. hopefully i will get back to Douglas for a break and wil

This place was amazing! The room was beautiful and had an awesome
view!!!! They even give you chocolates and have a nice sitting room
where you can mingle with the other guest. You can see the horse
trollies right out front and there is a stop to get on it right there
also. Had an amazing breakfast! They also held our luggage after we
checked out, since our flight wasn't till late in the day we wanted
to explore but didn't know what to do with the luggage. Next time we
come we will definitely s

Friendly, helpful staff and excellent value for money. The Hotel was very comfortable, within easy walking distance from the ferry port and shops. - The staff were some of the friendliest I have met in my many years of travelling and were always willing to go that extra mile.

All reviews mention the famous carpet on the stairs, but my room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the meals in the bar were fine, and the location is excellent, opposite the castle, next to a bus stop and convenience store, and an easy walk to the railway station. -

Food was excellent including the 2 restaurants attached to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very helpful which gives the whole place a happy atmosphere. Lovely touch also of being able to have fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the room and bottled water too.
