From the moment you arrive you are treated like a family friend. Atmosphere is relaxed and staff have plenty of time to talk. If you are from abroad this is the way to experience the best in English hospitality, service, history, - Loved the bathroom and general ambiance of the house, really genuine old enlish country house, very relaxing but not stuffy. Delightful family running it, all without exception very friendly. Delicious breakfast, and exceptionally clean rooms, they were tidied and cleaned up everytime we walked out of the door.
