Bridleway is an excellent location from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and our hosts could not be more helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We would be happy to use Bridleway again in the future. -

This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes. A tramp in the sun, a swim, a spell in the hot tub outside and then a good meal - what else could you want for your holiday? -

Boot and shoe pub was a great overnight stay. The friendly owners and staff made you feel very welcome. The accomodation was very comfortable and the food was good. The atmosphere in the bar was great. It seems to be one of the pubs in UK that is doing well and providing a good service to it's customers.Even Tarzan likes the place. Great stay. Hig

Food was excellent and the whole stay was really good value for money in a great location despite the rain. Staff were friendly and I had a wonderful cooked breakfast included in the rate to start off the day.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much as we had never stayed in such a beautiful hotel before. It was just what we were looking for a bit of peace and quiet.
