Amazing value for money, bed was more comfy than my home bed, staff were so helpful and friendly, i couldn't of asked for more, 30 second walk to tescos, 10 min walk to the beach, i would recommend kandi lodge to anyone who asks for the best place in Newquay, i will defiantly be staying there again -

Friendly staff, quick breakfast service. Across the road from the beach. Far enough away from town centre to avoid the rowdiness of Newquay. Easy walk into central area for pubs and restaurants. Some onsite parking which is a bonus for a budget hotel. On street parking available at night about 300 yards away. Good value for Newquay and good base

We stayed 3 nights, our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in a great location being only a short walk to beaches, pubs and restaurants.

Roanna, the host, was very welcoming. The rooms was spotless, bath robe
provided, lovely toiletries, very high quality bedding and towels. High
quality beverage and food items and my room also had a mini fridge in it
with fresh milk and not uht. I had an extremely good night's sleep
and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic and very well cook

We were greeted upon our (rather late) arrival and shown to our room. It was very clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the central location. Brochures for the area were available and the cute 'dining room' was adorably decorated with more books and literature of interest. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous with all ingredients locally sourced and incredibly fresh. Excellent value for money! I would highly recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable, clean, and centrally

Paul and Judith, the proprietors, were friendly and professional. The guest house was in an excellent location, my room had a great and close view of the sea. Paul and Judith provide a haven of calm, relaxation and privacy in the midst of a wonderful location with views of St Michael's Mount. The buffet and cooked breakfast range was superb, fresh, beautifully cooked. Paul and Judith are a TIC in themselves. Highly recommended. Room and beds v. comfortable, clean and well appointed.

We were so impressed. You cannot beat this kind of integrity and care
about the welfare of customers. The staff should get a gold star. -
I found all the Staff at the Engleton Guest House most friendly and
helpful. Rooms were kept clean and well equipped with tea and coffee
facilities. The breakfast menu was sooo! Good I soon learnt however not
to order the full English as I knew I couldnt eat it all. Definately
worth another visit. (My dog agrees)

We loved everything, the hotel was spotless, the room and views of their garden were so beautiful. The breakfast there had so much choice, even kippers if you liked. Clive and Dorette made you feel so welcome, and could not do enough, I could have stayed longer, a perfect place to stay, and central to all the places we wanted to visit, Mazzaron, Mousehole, Port Isaac, Looe Lands End. Would highly recommend Pencubitt Country House, we have never stayed in such a lovely home, all your needs

The best guesthouse I have ever stayed in. Immaculate everywhere, the breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked for us. The hosts very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. We were staying for just one night whilst visiting the nearby cliffside Minack Theatre, our hosts had even packed us a bag of rugs, blankets and waterproofs to take with us if needed.
