  The staff were friendly, available and accomodating. The oak panel and stained glass interior was delightful giving the hotel the appearance of a mini stately home. The room was large and well equipped with a good sized en-suite, desk, sofa and king sized bed. The views over the Solent towards Wes - After being in the hotel no more than a few minutes I knew that I would definitely want to stay there again. Friendly and welcoming staff and a huge room with a wonderful view of the sea. Lovely big bathroom too. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is full of character and reminded me of holidays of my childhood. It was a very welcome change from some of the.impersonal and modern hotels I have stayed in.
