Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs

V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the building was interesting, food was delicious and freshly cooked and reasonable prices staff were really friendly and helpf

I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. Food can be kept in the fridges in the self catering kitchen and all cooking facilities from microwaves to gas cookers and ovens. Like with any hostel, take padlocks a

My friend and I stayed in a twin room here for 3 nights. The guesthouse is warm and comfortable both in terms of the rooms and the lovely guesthouse owner who was very attentive during our stay. The breakfast was good quality as was the coffee, tea, biscuits provided in the room everyday. The guesthouse is just outside Bath centre but there are frequent buses and the Royal Crescent is only 35 min walk away. Would definitely recommend :-)
