It was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, the shower room was very clean and well designed, the bedlinen was crisp and clean and although our doubleroom was small, it was adequately furnished with enough storage space for clothes. The breakfast room was well laid out and the continental breakfast well served with plenty of choice.

At Holland Apartements you get excellent service, and get to stay in a clean and tidy apartement. There is no luxury, but you get value for your money. Staying there with childre the age 9 and 12 worked just fine, but we were a lot out of the house. Finding a place to eat nearby is no problem, and if you are not willing to walk the 15 minutes to Shepards Bush metro station, you can take the bus.

We had the absolute best experience at the London Visitors Hotel. It is a beautiful building, lovingly remodeled. Our room was plenty big for 3 adults and an 11 year old. The staff was absolutely amazing, very kind and attentive. I had to take a trip to the ER and the staff called a taxi for us, offered to make me chamomile tea while we waited, and was genuinely worried. You don't find that kind of concern everywhere! The price is excellent for this part of London, we were there at the weekend and the weekend tube took us right into Kensington Olympia, so it was a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Beds were comfortable and it was a budget friendly place.Staff were very nice too. -

In general, it is a nice hostel which i would definitely love to visit again. The rooms are okay and the breakfast is just okay for the day's start. Good place to meet nice people from other parts of the world. Price is just okay (not cheap/not expensive) because the hostel is situated in a nice location close to the city center.
